ICM, the Institute of Commercial Management, was
founded in 1979. It is a respected international examining
and certifying board with 100,000 members and with
centres in over 120 countries. ICM is now one of the
leading professional examination bodies in the field
of business and IT education in Ireland and the UK,
with corporate and student members throughout the
world. Recognition of ICM in Ireland is expanding
rapidly, due largely to their practical hands-on approach
to certification. Each exam/project is practical based,
with very little theory and the emphasis is always
on transferring the skills to the participants and

Target Group
This course concentrates on participants attaining
the ICM (Institute Of Commercial Management) Certificate
in Web Design. This practical hands-on course is structured
around this qualification (1 examination based on
a final project). It is aimed at persons who specifically
want a web design qualification as well as a strong
basic knowledge of web design. This course is ideal
for persons who need to be able to update and make
modifications to a company website. The individual
will also understand how to manage and promote a website
in order to benefit a business.
Course Overview
The aim of this course is to train participants, who
have no previous experience in Web design, how to
Plan, Design and Structure Web sites using Macromedia
Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop and basic HTML. All participants
should have ECDL or equivalent computer knowledge.

on the course. Full payment for the course is due
prior to commencement of the course or on the first
night of the course. Cancellation - If you cancel
the course 1 week in advance we will refund your deposit.

advance of the course commencing, a refund will be
dependant on our ability to fill your place on the
