ECDL Expert / Advanced

 

Target Group

  Advanced ECDL is ideal for people interested in an advanced computer skills qualification or in having their existing computer skills tested and certified at a higher level. This course is an advanced follow-on to the core ECDL course. It is a good step up from Core ECDL and therefore is only suitable for regular proficient users of the computer.

Course Overview

 

Advanced ECDL is an intensive programme that awards a certificate at the end of each successfully completed module. Four modules are currently available from ECDL: Advanced Word, Excel, Access & Powerpoint. It is not necesssary to have completed the entire Core ECDL but you must have completed the four core modules in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases and Presentations before sitting the advanced level.

On completion of all 4 modules candidates are entitled to an ECDL Expert Certificate

Outcome

  On completion of this course you will:

Have a more in-depth knowledge of Word, Excel, Access & Powerpoint with increased efficiency in the use of all four programs

Be able to apply advanced features to a particular work situation.
Be able to integrate Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint with other Microsoft Office Programs
Be able to troubleshoot advanced functions
Be able to create and customise Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Holding an ECDL Advanced Certificate will prove that an individual's competence with computer use is well above the basic skill level, and will help determine suitability for jobs involving computer use at a higher level. It will also increase the value to an employer of skilled, qualified staff
